Atiku lands in Tambuwal’s house to show gratitude

Atiku Abubakar has visited Governor Aminu Tambuwalof Sokoto State to express his gratitude to him over his winning the Peoples Democratic Party presidential ticket.

TheCornet reported that Tambuwal, who also vied for the ticket, stepped down and endorsed Atiku. His withdrawal would make it easy for the former vice president to trounce his other opponents such as Governor Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), and a former president of Senate, Bukola Saraki, at the Saturday primaries in Abuja.

In his post on Sunday, said Atiku visited him to applaud his sacrifice.
“Shortly after Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal sprang historic surprise for former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar at the Special PDP Convention by declaring unflinching support for him which led to the latter’s emergence as the party’s presidential candidate for 2023 election, Atiku was at Tambuwal residence to show his appreciation,” said the post on Tambuwal’s Facebook page.
