Armed men go on killing spree in Kaduna villages
Armed men suspected to be terrorists went on killing spree in some villages located in the Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Report has that among the slain natives was Illiya Auta, who was a ward chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
The invaders reportedly abducted many residents and rustled cattle belonging to the natives.
PUNCH, in its own report, quoted a source as saying the invaders on approaching the villages began to shoot indiscriminately. Fear-stricken residents reportedly fled their homes for safety reasons.
“It was during the attack that the Aribi ward chairman of the APC, Mr Illiya Auta, was gunned down”, the source was quoted as saying.
“Several other residents were killed during the attack, which occurred on Monday night.
“The bandits also made away with scores of villagers to an unknown destination, while others were seriously wounded.
“They (bandits) also rustled many cows,” he added.
