A father from hell, caught in an incestous affair with his daughter, has owned up to his criminal act.
It happened that anytime his wife went on a business trip, the 39-year-old Klutsey Korledzo, 39, would sleep with his 16-year-old daughter.
The Ghanaian man carried out the act repeatedly between November and December 2023, ending up putting her in a family way.
He also threatened to kill her, if she told anyone of the illicit affair. But the victim eventually mustered the courage to confide in someone that she was her father’s bedmate. A complaint was made to the police, blowing the lid off Korledzo’s incestous act.
The suspect was arrested and prosecuted under Ghana’s Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
He admitted his crime, following which the Aflao Circuit Court, Joseph Ofosu Behome, sentenced him to 20 years in jail.
TheCornet reports that a similar offence in Nigeria’s commercial hub of Lagos usually sees an accused being handed a life jail.
