Tinubu’s international supporters land in Abuja

A coalition of political groups supporting the All Progressives Congress’ presidential flagbearer Asiwaju Bola Tinbu Saturday landed in Abuja to meet with Kano State Governor Abduallahi Ganduje.

According to a government statement, the groups comprised supporters of Tinubu in Nigeria, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Germany, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates

They are said to have presented Governor Ganduje an award for his role in pushing Tinubu’s aspiration.

Mohammad Garba, Kano State Commissioner for Information, said Ganduje told his visitors that Tinubu’s presidency could best manage the country’s diversity.

Ganduje stated that Tinubu’s emergence at the primary election gave hope and encouragement about APC wining the 2023 election.

He also reportedly thanked the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), for creating the enabling environment for the conduct of the primary; the APC and its governors as well as other aspirants who had expressed readiness to work with Asiwaju for the victory of the party.
