T-R-A-G-E-D-Y: Woman kills own husband, two daughters
A woman has murdered her family in what is believed to be a murder-suicide.
TheCornet, following the story published in the British tabloid, The Mail, reports that the suspected killer-mother might have taken the action due to financial pressures and the fear of losing their home.
Andrea Alarcon, 42, from New Jersey, United States shot her 51-year-old husband Ruben Alarcon, and their children Scarlett, 9, and Emma, 6, before turning the gun on her self.
The family’s home in which they have lived for 15years was taken over from them and resold for $322,000 last November. They were given at 60 days to leave.
On the day sheriffs arrived at the home to serve them eviction notice, they met the family members dead dead on the floor with gunshot wounds.
Investigators concluded that Andrea was responsible for the deaths as the murder weapon was close to her body.
Union Police Director Christopher Donnelly said the deaths were ‘a deeply tragic event that has shaken our community to its core.’
