Police to investigate Portable over claim he founded deadly cult groups

Portable, a Nigerian singer, is to be investigated over his claim that he founded two deadly cult groups, namely ‘One Million Boys’, and ‘Ajah Boys’.

The controversial one-track hit singer made the claim in a viral video on Monday.

The two cult groups are notorious for terrorising residents of the Lagos.

Following his confession, the Inspector-General of Police directed the Commissioner of Police in Lagos state to commence a probe of the singer.

Muyiwa Adejobi, a chief superintendent and spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, stated this in a statement he issued

“Sequel to the trending video of one Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable where he claimed to have formed the One-Million Boys cult group terrorising some parts of Lagos State, the IGP has ordered CP Lagos to investigate the indicting statement and take necessary legal action.

“This directive is premised on the continuous effort of the Nigeria Police Force to fish out pillars and sponsors of cult groups in order to decimate their activities and restore sanity to our society,” he stated.

Born Habeeb Okikiola, the controversial singer climbed to fame following the release of his lewd hit-track Zazoo Zehh.
