Police officer arrested while buying cocaine

A US police officer in Pennysylvania, was arrested while trying to buy cocaine from an undercover informant.

The 28-year-old Justin Thomas Taylor’s arrest comes in the wake of a drug enforcement operation, according to Fox News. Police had placed a surveillance on the drug seller, only to discover that he was also Taylor’s supplier.

A police statement said, “It is extremely disappointing anytime we encounter an officer who is breaking the law,” Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack said.

“It is a complete betrayal by the officer of the trust the public placed in him to uphold the law, not break it.
