Petrol price reduction false – NNPCL

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPCL, has debunked the speculations that it had reduced price per litre of petrol at its retail outlets across the country.

Olufemi Soneye, spokesperson for the company, said that it was false the claim that the prices of petrol and diesel had been reviewed downward.

He said, the NNPC Limited wishes to clarify rumours suggesting a price adjustment for Premium Motor Spirit and Automotive Gas Oil at its retail stations nationwide.

The company asserts that the reports are false and urges Nigerians to disregard them entirely.”

Soneye said the NNPL is committed to “sustaining the current sufficiency in petroleum products supply across all its retail stations in the country.”
