Nigerian man separates from wife, stones children to death

A Nigerian man, Elisha Tari, from Michika in Adamawa state has murdered his two children, two months after separating from his wife.

According to a police statement, Elisha’s father reported the incident as the culprit was trying to escape into Cameroon.

Suleiman Nguroje, the spokesperson for the Adamawa police command, alleged the 25-year-old suspect killed the kids using a stone and a stick.

The police said they are investigating the matter, in order to know the reason behind Elisha’s action.
