Kizz Daniel placates Tanzanian fans with free concert
Nigerian hit-maker Kizz Daniel made up with his Tanzanian fans by staging a free concert last Friday.
A show promoter had billed the singer to perform last Sunday, but he failed to do so.
Due to the controversy the incident generated, the country’s police briefly detained the singer.
Kizz Daniel, whose real name isOluwatobiloba Anidugbe, placated his fans with a free concert Friday.
The excited fans danced and sang along to Kizz Daniel’s popular numbers, such wave-making Buga, Oshe, Mamaand Yeba.The singer also filled the crowd with excitement, singing his previous hit songs like Woju, Layeand One Ticket.
The show however suffered a hitch as the song arrangement failed. Undaunted, Kizz Daniel switched to miming some of the songs as they were being dished by the disk jokey.
“I think I have to come back because I owe you guys a proper show because this sound is not making me enjoy my performance tonight. I promise you guys that I will come back. I love you and I thank you and the promoters for coming out tonight,” he said to the fans.
