Osinachi’s pastor Paul Eneche calls federal govt. ‘criminal leadership’

Paul Eneche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has described the current federal government as a criminal leadership.

Late gospel singer Osinachi was a lead singer in Eneche’s church until her death.

The clergyman, in a video obtained on Facebook, called for the arrest of some pastors who attended the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as running mate to All Progressives Congress presidential flagbearer Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The sight of the clergymen, cloaked in bishop’s robes, drew flaks from Christian leaders and critics of the ruling party. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) also described the clergymen as fake.

In the said video, Eneche said, “You know there is a contest going on in this country right now where some criminals paraded themselves as bishops.

“That is the level to which the criminal leadership of this country has descended into. You see like begets like, those who sent them are like them. That is an impersonation of the highest order and they should be arrested and tried.”

Amid the criticisms, Bayo Onanuga, the spokesperson for the Bola Tinubu Campaign Organisation explained the clergymen who attended the event were not fake.

“We want to say that those clergymen were not fake, not mechanics or yam sellers as the purveyors of hatred have made Nigerians to believe in the social media. They are not big names in Christendom yet, they are gradually building up their missions,” said Onanuga.
