Tinubu donates N75million to victims of church attack

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, frontline presidential aspirant, has donated N75million to victims of St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, in Ondo State.

He announced the donation at the  Palace of Olowo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye while on a commiserative visit.

He described the attack as an evil that must be defeated, saying “there is no place for such hatred and wanton taking of innocent lives” in our country.

Prior to his visit, the former Lagos governor had condemned the Sunday terrorist attack.
“I strongly condemn the evil and brutal attack that took place at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, this morning. I pray healing and comfort for the injured and the bereaved. May Almighty God grant eternal rest to the departed as He gives peace to those they leave behind. My thoughts and prayers are with H.E. Governor Akeredolu, the government and the people of Ondo State”, he said in his statement on Sunday.
Some terrorists Sunday attacked the church, resulting in the deaths of over 30 worshippers.
