Kamaru Usman loses to Edwards in UFC title fight

Leon Edwards gas defeated his rival Kamaru Usman to win the UFC welterweight title. Usman had defeated Edwards seven years ago in a unanimous decision.

With just one minute left on the clock, Edwards feinted forwards, drew Usman into a lean to his right where he was unceremoniously dispatched with a shin bone across the jaw.

In the opening round, it looked as though Edwards had seize the victory with both hands, after he managed to take Usman down. It was the first time the champion had ever been put on his back.

There was the faint threat of a submission but time expired and Usman came roaring back into the contest in the second.  He finally lost the match to Edwards.
