Kafachan special to Tinubu, says minister following FMC appointments

Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, the minister of state for health and social welfare, has revealed that Kafachan, located in Southern Kaduna in Kaduna State, is “very special” to President Bola Tinubu.

This is according to a statement in which Salako urged modesty of the newly appointed medical directors of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Kafanchan, Dr. Haruna Abubakar Shehu; and that of the National Orthopaedic Hospital Azare, Hawul, Borno State, Dr. Ali Mohammed Ramat, respectively.

“These are new hospitals, so obviously you will face some teething problems: and Kafanchan is very very special to Mr. President because of his keen interest in that part of Kaduna State. You know he has also established a Federal University in that Senatorial district in view of his special interest,” Salako said.

“I urge you to charge forward with unwavering dedication and, determination towards projecting the agenda of Mr. President in the health sector.

Relate very well with all the staheholders in the community, they are the owners of those facilities, so let us relate very well with them. Of course, you should also relate very well with the Ministry through the Hospital Services Department.

On behalf of the new appointees, Dr. Shehu thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and “pledged their dedication and commitment to excellence.
