Female suspect arrested in Lagos for cocaine trafficking confesses

A mother of one, Ifeoma Henrietta Ezewuike, arrested for cocaine dealing, has revealed to anti-narcotics agents that she assumed her late husband’s role in the criminal enterprise after his demise two years ago.
Ezewuike reportedly disguised as a pregnant woman “to escape scrutiny and detection” while trying to traffic 1.3 kilograms of cocaine to Abuja through an inter-state transport service at the Jibowu area of Lagos State.

A National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) statement said that the 50-year-old Ezewuike, besides drug dealing, owns a fashion outlet – Golden Star Creation located at Ago Palace Way, in the Okota area of Lagos.
“A follow-up operation at her house in the Ago Palace Way area led to the recovery of 200 grams of cutting agent used in the production of a strain of cocaine.”
