Buhari in Jos for APC campaign flag-off, Lalong declares work-free day

President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to arrive in Jos, the capital of Plateau state on Tuesday for the official flagging off of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign.

This is as the Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong declares a work-free day.

According to the APC presidential campaign council, the state governor made the proclamation due to anticipated “traffic congestion” and “resultant disruption to movement and other activities.”

The party in the state urges residents to take the opportunity of the work break to “come out enmasse to give the president a rousing welcome.”

The flag off would take place at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, Jos, starting 10:00 a.m.
