Leave me the f..k alone, Ayra Star barks at troll

Nigerian songstress, Ayra Star, tore into a troll who accused her of being insensitive to the escalating violence taking place in Benue State.

The troll,@Liya Fan Gurlll, had accused the “Rush” crooner, Ayra Star, of failing to “read the room” following her post.

The troll’s X handle gives the impression she is a fan of former Davido signee, Abdulsalam Suliyat Modasola, fondly called by her stage name, Liya.

Although Ayra Star’s musical success, so far, towers above Liya’s, the latter is equally seen as a great talent after debuting her song ‘Melo’.

Sounding frustrated with the troll who tried to politicise her post, Ayra Star, born Sarah Aderibigbe, said: “There is nothing I can do nor say to people that intentionally want to bully or misunderstand me every time. You have found a scapegoat Abi? Focus on issues that actually matter and leave me tf alone.”

TheCornet News reports that Benue State has seen escalating violence between farmers and herders, with the latest attacks leaving no fewer than 100 people dead.

Responding to the latest mayhem, President Bola Tinubu urged Governor Hycinth Alia to convene a peace meeting between warring parties.

The Nigerian leader also ordered the security services to bring the bloodletting to a halt, saying “enough is enough.”
