England end Nigeria’s World Cup run by penalty shoot-outs

Nigeria’s women football team, the Super Falcons, crashed out of the ongoing Fifa World Cup on Monday after losing in penalty shoot-outs to England.

The Nigerian team had played a goal-less draw with the English team, with the penalty coming as a tiebreaker.

Nigeria missed two of their allowable shoot-outs, thereby handling England the winning ticket to the last round of eight.
