Man rips wife’s belly open in blood-chilling murder case
A man, David Ayornu, has ripped his wife’s belly open in a blood-chilling murder case. Ayornu reportedly stabbed his wife, Theresa, multiple times before dragging the sharp knife around her stomach and excising her intestines.
The victim’s loud noise attracted the concern of the chief of the town, who rushed into the house to find the murderer sitting calmly in the pool of the victim’s blood.
The police were alerted to the killing and, upon arriving at the crime scene, arrested Ayornu. He was taken to a hospital for examination, but he was later discharged.Ayornu is currently in police custody undergoing an interrogation.
The shocking homicide happened in Lufenya, in the Ada East District of Ghana.
A police spokesperson said, “So, the Chief quickly rushed there because the noise was loud and unusual. He found out that David Ayornu’s wife, Theresa Kwao, was lying dead with her intestines out,” he said.
“According to the Chief, the said David Ayornu was found in the same room where the victim laid, so they came for Police assistance to know who caused that,” he added.
“Police were shown the room, where a female adult was seen wearing only a bead and a pant lying in a pool of blood with the face down with the intestine out.”
He explained that initial inspection of the body revealed that bones of the chest, the intestines and a sharp knife with blood stains on it were found lying in the room, about 2 feet from the body.
