In the bid to take a new wife, Clement Chukwuemeka, 67, decided to push hard drugs but his plan failed.

Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson for the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), said operatives arrested Clement at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

He also said Clement had arrived from Ethiopia before the operatives had his body scanned, revealing the “multiple pellets in his stomach.”

“While under observation, he excreted a total of 100 wraps of cocaine weighing 2.195kg in four excretions,” Babafemi stated.

The enforcement team equally intercepted 20kg of cannabis hidden in a 40ft container carrying logs of wood. Suspects arrested are Ahmed Yusuf, Olaniyi Babatunde, Adedeji Babatunde, Richard John, Osolale Olamilekan and Abdulazeez Saied.
