Tinubu goes to hold talks with terrorism fighting soldiers in Borno

President Bola Tinubu has departed Abuja for the terror-prone Borno State capital, Maiduguri.

While at the capital, Tinubu would grace the Nigerian Army Annual Conference as its special honour guest.

The President would also address counter-terrorism soldiers, under the auspices of the Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI.

He would similarly inspect the ongoing construction of the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital, in Maiduguri.

President Tinubu is also expected to lay the foundation stone for the building of the Army’s Headquarters 7 Division.

State officials including National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu were at the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, to bade the President farewell.
