Buhari signs Startup bill into law

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Nigeria Startup Bill into law. Isa Pantami, the minister of communications and digital economy, stated this on Wednesday.

The minister said the executive arm of government initiated the bill, now an act of the parliament. He added that the bill would create an enabling environment for tech-based startups in Nigeria.

According to him, the Federal Government plans to set up a 10 billion naira fund for startups in the country.
