Atiku, Fayose, others meet with Wike

Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has met with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike. The meeting is apparently a rapprochement after a keenly contested primaries.

In Atiku’s company to Wike’s Abuja’s residence is Ayodele Fayose, former governor of Ekiti state. Others include former Access Bank managing director, Tunde Ayeni, and Edo state chairman of the PDP, Dan Orbih.

Atiku had defeated Wike at Saturday’s presidential primaries of the opposition party.

TheCornet had reported how a former president, former heads of state, and military generals, among others, had intervened to secure victory for Atiku.
