Abass wishes APC dominates Nasarawa politics
Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has expressed his wish to see All Progressives Congress (APC) dominate Narasawa state’s politics. He said this to Emir of Agwatashi in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Apeshi, who paid him a visit.
A statement from Abass office said he equally regretted ‘the perennial intraparty squabbles among (APC) members, leading the party losing national and state legislative seats to opposition parties.’
The speaker also told his guest that “the Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration would work in collaboration with the 10th National Assembly to ensure that Nigerians reap the benefits of their God-given natural resources.”
Abass noted the discovery of crude oil deposits in Agwatashi Emirate and assured the monarch that President Tinubu would “make Nigeria’s natural resources work for the benefit of the citizens.”
The statement further quoted the monarch as thanking Abass over his support for the emirate.
“So, we have come on behalf of the community to thank you immensely for this good gesture that you have done to us in Oloso Community of Agwatashi Emirate,” the monarch reportedly said.
