27 women, 55 children among surrendered ISWAP members – NA
The Nigerian Army has said some members of the Islamic State for West Africa Province and their families have surrendered to it.
The army, in a short message, said the total number of persons who surrendered was 104, comprising 22 males, 27 females and 55 children.
They were said to have surrendered to troops of 25 Task Force Brigade Damboa, Borno State on Saturday 5 February 2022.
