Hollywood star, Will Smith slaps comedian for joking about his wife on stage

The Oscars unravelled into chaos when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock, after the presenter made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

After dealing Rock a slap, Smith strode back to his seat beside his wife and could be heard shouting some profanities.

Smith would later be called up stage to receive the Best Actor Award.

Getting on stage, a teary Smith apologised to the Academy and his fellow nominees in an emotional speech, before stating: ‘Love will make you do crazy things’.
