Tinubu, traditional rulers meet

President Bola Tinubu and traditional rulers from different parts of the country are currently meeting at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja. There is no official release on the reason for the meeting but it is believed the President would use the occasion to intimate the traditional rulers of his administration’s plans.

Giving his opening remarks, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’adu Abubakar III said the traditional rulers had gathered to congratulate President Tinubu on his electoral win, assure of him of their support to his nation-building efforts, and to openly confirm their belief in his capabilities.

In the same vein, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Adewusi advised President Tinubu to involve the traditional rulers in his efforts at addressing insecurity. He likewise assured President Tinubu that they would support him to achieve his renewed hope agenda.
