Thunderstorm strikes three persons dead

A mysterious thunderstorm, on Sunday, reportedly struck three people dead, injured six others, and destroyed scores of houses in Zauro town of Kebbi state. The deadly thunder struck during a heavy downpour.

Yahaya Danjada, who witnessed the incident, said the deceased were killed in their sleep, and they were buried in line with Islamic rites. The injured, Danjada said, were admitted to Argungu General Hospital.

Abubakar Umar Tafidan Kebbi, the state deputy governor, visited the bereaved families to commiserate with them.Â

Abubakar , during the visit, donated N3.5 million to the affected families.Â
