Supreme Court throws out suit asking PDP to zone presidential ticket to South-East

The Supreme Court has thrown out a suit seeking to have the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) zone its presidential ticket for the 2023 presidential election to the south-east region of Nigeria.

Cosmas Ndukwe, who initiated the suit, had equally asked the court to stop the May 28 presidential primaries, which did not happen. The primaries held and produced Abubakar Atiku as the party’s flag bearer.
