Osun first lady’s police aides, hoodlums row

Some policemen in the convoy of Osun state first lady, Kafayat Oyetola, reportedly had an altercation with some hoodlums around Owode market area of Oshogbo on Friday night.

The policemen allegedly fired multiple shots in the air, apparently, to wade off the hoodlums.

PUNCH, in its story, quoted an eyewitness, identified only as Alayande, as saying a truck obstructed the convoy’s movement.

“It was while trying to make the truck driver to move that altercation ensued between security men attached to the convoy.

“I heard several gunshots where I stood near the junction. It was dark but there was altercation between security men and some people suspected to be hoodlums,” he said.

Oluwatunmise Iluyomade, the information officer, to the first lady, said that “some security personnel attached to the convoy sustained various degrees of injuries.”
