Nigerian pastor Chris Okafor accused of fornication publicly begs victims

A Nigerian pastor, Chris Okafor, has publicly asked for forgiveness from women he might have offended. Okafor’s descent to ignominy began when an actor, Doris Ogala, publicly accused him of reneging on his promise to marry her after dating him for several years.

In a series of videos, Ogala claimed she left her previous marriage due to pressure from Okafor. She equally alleged that he was in amorous relationships with other women out of wedlock. The accusations led to Ogala’s arrest but the police later released her after two days.

Prior to his admittance on Sunday, Okafor denied Ogala’s allegations. He however made a volte-face on Sunday.

Okafor said, “The lady called Doris Ogala, mistakes have been made in the past. I tender apology to everybody. But everything that was said is not true. There are so many lies. I’m sorry to everyone that I have offended; To Doris Ogala, I apologise. I am not perfect. I have never been perfect. But, I tell you have had a new beginning since the coming of these fathers of faith into my life.”

Okafor is founder and pastor of the Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries.
