More trouble for Labour Party as police arrest national chairman Abure for attempted murder
The beleaguered Labour Party faces another trouble on Wednesday as the police pick up its national chairman, Julius Abure in Edo State.
The arrest comes after Oluchi Opara, the now suspended national treasure of the party, accused Abure of failing to account for ₦3.5billion of party funds.
Abure’s latest ordeal stemmed from a petition by the party’s Youth Leader, Comrade Eragbe Anselm Aphimia, alleging murder attempt.
