Kogi judiciary probes complaints on promotion, seniority

Justice Josiah Majebi, the acting chief judge of Kogi state, has set up a committee on judiciary reforms. The six-man committee is to look at complaints about promotion, appointment, and seniority among staff.

The committee is expected to receive memoranda and complaints from aggrieved members of staff on the issue. It will also investigate the complaints and make recommendations to the ag CJ.

The committee chairman is Justice AlabaĀ Ā Omoloye Ajileye, who lauded the initiative.

ā€œYou have shifted from the paradigm of exclusiveness to one of exclusivity,ā€ he said to Justice Majebi.

Other members of the committee are Justice Alaba Omolaye-Ajileye (chairman), Justice Esther Haruna, Dr. Mohammed Tanko, Mr. Jibril Mohammed Anibasa (secretary) ,Badru Abdulgani, and Mr. Emmanuel Waniko.
