Buhari vows to punish NDDC looters following agency’s audit

Those who misappropriated six trillion naira so far allocated to the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for the purpose of developing the oil-rich region will be punished, says President Muhammadu Buhari.

 

The President said this when he received the forensic audit report set up to probe contract awards.

 

He also said over 13.777 projects awarded could not be accounted for. He had also directed that the report be handed to the Federal Ministry of Justice for it advice.
