How IPOB militants killed pregnant woman, 10 others

Suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) are said to have killed a pregnant woman, her four children, and six others on Sunday in Anambra state. The victims are allegedly northerners.

Daily Trustis reporting that the victims were killed at Isulo, Orumba North Local Government Area of the state.

The latest killing comes after suspected gunmen beheaded a state lawmaker and his aide in the state.

Speaking on the incident, the Sarkin Hausawa of Orunba North LGA, Alhaji Sa’id Muhammad, Monday, said northerners living in Anambra State are prepared to leave the state, due to the incessant killings  of their relatives.

“The woman was from Adamawa State. Before her death, she lived in Orumba South, and on Sunday, she visited her friends with her four children.

“It was on her way back home in Orumba South that she was killed. She was being conveyed by a commercial motorcyclist when they were ambushed by the gunmen. They murdered her and her four children but the motorcyclist escaped,” he said.
