Father stabs wife, two daughters to death in domestic violence incident
A 64-year-old man has stabbed his wife and two daughters to death in a domestic violence incident.
His third daughter however survived her stab wound.
Seeing what he has done, the South African man then attempted his own life.
The 29-year-old mother and her daughters died at the scene.
The police said they received a complaint on domestic violence.
“On arrival, police found a woman and three girls with stab wounds on the upper body.
“The woman and her two girls, aged one year and six years, were certified dead at the scene, while the third girl aged four years was taken to hospital for medical treatment,” said Masondo.
The police arrested the suspect and took him to a hospital to treat his wounds arising from his attempt to kill himself.
The suspect is facing charges of murder and attempted murder.
