Ex-senate president David Mark loses 51-year-old son

Jonathan Tunde Mark, the son of former president of Nigerian Senate David Mark, has died, aged 51.

Tunde reportedly died in a London hospital on Friday from cancer-related ailment.

According to Sahara reporter, the deceased was Senator Mark’s first son.

He attended Yaba Military School in Lagos, where he obtained his first school leaving certificate. He was equally educated at the Fernden Preparatory School, Surrey, UK, where he had his Secondary education.

Tunde obtained a BSc degree from Kings College, London, where he read immunology and biochemistry. He later read Biological Sciences at the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Harvard, and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
