Nigeria family of seven killed in one fell swoop
A family of seven has been killed in one fell swoop when some assailants struck at Azandeh, community, in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. In addition to the deceased family members, three others were grisly murdered in the attack.
The slain relatives are Michael Mtindiga Adzandeh, Iorfa Michael Mtindiga Adzandeh, Akighirga Adzandeh, Tyowuese Adzandeh, Tersee Swende Adzandeh, Terngu Tortiv Adzandeh and Terkaa Shiati Adzandeh.
As per The Nation report, eyewitness account claimed herdsmen were behind the murders.
The masked assailants reportedly shot indiscriminately, leading to the multiple deaths. They were also said to have set several houses on fire.
Victor Iorzaa, caretaker chairman of Ukum Local Government Area, reportedly confirmed the incident and said that the police have deployed to the troubled area.
