Bank employee commits suicide after discovering boyfriend alrea married
A bank employee has committed suicide after finding out her live-in lover was already married to another woman.
The 33 years old victim was found hanging from the ceiling of her flat on Thursday.
She is said to have left a suicide note in which she stated that the discovery led to her taking her life.
She also said the man had promised to marry her.
The victim’s family blamed her death on the lover, in their complaint lodged with the police.
At the same time, the police said the victim had complained that her lover, his wife, and family members descended on her when she confronted the man on the issue.
The police have resolved to press charges against the man.
“We handed over the woman’s body to her kin after a post mortem today and a further probe is underway,” the police said.
The Indian TV is reporting that the police had handed the victim’s corpse to her relatives.
