Why I ran away from husband-to-be hours to wedding – Woman

A woman discovered to have faked her own kidnap reveals she suddenly lost love for her fiancé few hours to her wedding.

Amina Gwani Danzarga, the bride-to-be, went missing for four days, in what her relatives falsely thought was a kidnap.

After she was found, Amina revealed she planned her disappearance because she doesn’t love her husband-to-be.

“Of course, though I was the one to propose him to my parent later I don’t love the guy that is why I took that decision,” she said.

She added her respect for her parents stopped her from telling them about her emotional dilemma. She would again promise to live with her suitor and show him love.

The police said their investigation showed Amina disappeared to frustrate the wedding.

Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, spokesman for the Kano Police Command, told Daily Trust the lady made her parents and her suitor believe she was kidnapped.

“Investigation is ongoing to trace all the places she stayed and the phone calls she made during her four days in hiding,” he said.

Umar Hassan, the husband-to-be, reportedly refused to comment for the story.  Hassan said he was yet to meet with the lady.
