What I would do to deliver – NFF

Ibrahim Gusau, the newly elected president of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), has said he would pursue peace among stakeholders.

He made the promise in Gusau, Zamfara state, where he arrived to a reception organised by his admirers.

“My administration will try as much as possible to unite our people to ensure that we get success because that is what Nigerians want and we have no options but to do what we need to do in other to deliver.

“My message to them (football stakeholders) is to join hands and let us move the game of football forward,” he said.

Delegates to the NFF conference, held in Benin City, Edo state, last Monday, had elected Gusau.

Prior to his elevation, the accountant-cum-football administrator, was the chairman of state football associations across the country. He is equally a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) organising committee for African Nations Cup. Equally, Guasu had headed the Athletics Federation of Nigeria.
