Veteran singer, actor, journalist Onyeka Onwenu dead

Iconic veteran singer, actor, and journalist Onyeka Owenu has died, aged 72 years. She reportedly slumped, on Tuesday, during a performance at an event organized by businessperson Stella Okoli, who owns Emzor Pharmaceuticals. The event took place

on Banana Island, a highbrow neighbourhood in Ikoyi, Lagos. She was rushed to a hospital where doctors certified her dead.
