Two teenage thieves caught in the act

Two teenagers caught breaking into a shop were arrested in Osogbo, the capital of Osun state. According to Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinbi (retd.), the commandant of the state-owned Amotekun Corps, the underage suspects –aged 11, and 13 years old– stole packs of phone recharge cards, beverages, and money. The local security operatives swooped on their hideout, arrested them, and recovered their loot.

Adewinbi said the suspects confessed to the crime and would be handed to the police.

“The suspects were arrested on Saturday after receiving information on their hideout through the corps surveillance. Our operatives swung into action and they were apprehended with the stolen items. During interrogation, they confessed to perpetrating the act,” a statement released the security outfit said.
