Train bombing: Buhari Must Resign – Tanko-Yakassi
Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, a former special adviser to Kano state governor, Abdullai Ganduje, has again called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign from office following the Kaduna-Abuja train bombing by bandits on Monday.
The Cornet reports that many passengers were feared kidnapped, injured, or killed in the terrorist attack.
One of the victims whose story did the rounds on Twitter on Tuesday morning was a certain dentist, identified as Chinelo.

Tweeting under his handle @dawisu, Salihu said President Buhari had failed the country, due particularly to the unabated insecurity.
“We are angry, we are mad, and we don’t want anything again but for @MBuhari to resign! It is clear that you cannot secure us.
“We don’t feel safe anymore in our homes, let alone on the streets. We are frustrated, tired and can’t go on like this,” he said.
This is not the first time Salihu would give critical comments on President Buhari. In February 2021, he had similarly expressed disappointment in the president.
Based on his comment, the Department of State Security detained Salihu.
For his part, Governor Ganduje sacked Salihu, accusing him of making “unguarded comments and utterances.”
