Tinubu targets millennial, Gen Z voters with new app

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has deployed a technology aimed at worming himself into the hearts of millennials and Gen Z ahead of the February 25 presidential poll.

The app, according to the APC presidential campaign council, would be launched on Wednesday in Abuja. According to the campaign, the app is christened, ‘Thinking Cap’.

The guests of honour at the launching are Governor Simon Lalong, who is the Director-General of the APC PCC, and Mr. Babatunde Fashola, the minister of works and housing.

The APC-PCC describes the app as “a strategic tool being deployed to engage voters, especially the millennials and Gen Z.”

“With this technology, we would creatively pass factual information and bridge knowledge gaps about our candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Kashim Shettima, and other associated issues to persuade voters as part of efforts to win the 2023 general elections.

“This application has a lot of features that are designed to educate and inform while creating fun and offering rewards to users,” the APC-PCC stated.
