Tinubu lauds Gov. Bago’s agric, infrastructure projects

 Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, commissioned road projects in Niger state and lauded state Governor Umaru Bago for his diligence. The projects include 82-kilometer Minna-Bida dual carriageway, which comes under a tripartite funding by the state government, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), and, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).
Tinubu’s representative at the event – Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi – conveyed the president’s praises for Governor Bago’s commitment to the agriculture and infrastructural development of the state.
The president assured the state of his continued support and partnership
On his part, Governor Bago thanked President Tinubu for granting Tax Credit Scheme, which he said provided financial impetus for roads reconstruction in the state.
The governor believes that the infrastructure development would help Niger state achieve N5 trillion GDP by next year.
Equally at the event was the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. He eulogized the governor, too.
