Tinubu announces appointments of late MKO’s daughter, ex-NANS leader

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Risola Abiola, the daughter of late politician Chief Moshood Abiola.

She is to serve as President Tinubu’s senior special assistance on citizenship and leadership.

“She will be working closely with the leadership of the Ministry of Youth, ” a statement by the presidency said.

It added: “Ms. Abiola is a public relations professional and youth & gender advocate. She works at the intersection of politics and civil society to promote civic education and political literacy, and advocate for the enhanced inclusion of marginalized groups in decision-making/governance. ”

Similarly, President Tinubu appointed Comrade Asefon Sunday Adedayo as his senior special assistant on student engagement. A postgraduate student of the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Asefon had at a time led the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

In the same vein, the President picked Titilope Gbadamosi to serve as his Special Assistant on Delivery and Monitoring Youth Initiatives.

The English Language graduate of the Ekiti State University was previously the special assistant on community relations to late Oyo governor Abiola Ajimobi.

She would later work as a consultant to immediate past Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare.
