70 undergraduates of OAU arrested for allegedly involving in fraud Â

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested about 70 students of the Obafemi Awolowo University in a midnight raid of suspected fraudsters.

TheCornet gathered that the operatives stormed off-campus students’ hostels, known as ‘Fine Touch’, and ‘Superb hostels’, located in Oduduwa Estate, Ile-Ife, at about 2 a.m. The suspects were reportedly taken to the Ibadan zone’s office of the anti-fraud agency.

The EFCC, through the head of Public Affairs Department of the EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Command, Olumide Egbodofo, said it would soon give an update on the arrest.
