Fresh Jos killing blamed on ‘Fulani militia’

Fulani militia killed eight persons and injured some others in the clash between them and some residents of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State, said the Berom Youth Moulders Association.

Rwang Tengwong, the association’s national publicity secretary, made by the allegation in a report published by PUNCH.

According to him, “seven people have been confirmed dead at Danda chugwi community.”

“The attack happened on Sunday, 31/07/2022 at around 9:00pm.

“Others who sustain serious gun injuries have been taken to Vom Christian hospital for immediate medical attention,” he said.

The report alluded the attackers were suspected to be herdsmen. The armed herders reportedly clashed with vigilante group in the Wase Council Area of the state.
