Road mishap kills five
Five persons died from a road accident along the Tombia-Amassoma Road in Bayelsa State.
The deceased were occupants of a Mazda 323F with registration number NEM 456 PG. The vehicle collided head-on with a black Toyota SUV, marked RGM 38 HM.
 Bayelsa police, in their reaction to the accident, a female survivor is currentlyÂ
‘hospitalised’ at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital.Â
“Corpses of the victims were deposited at the same hospital for autopsy.
“Investigation is ongoing to arrest the driver of the SUV car and to ascertain the cause of the fatal car crash,” the police said.Â
